Bath University is planning to spend £70 million on a new School of Management building to be built opposite the sports Centre on the main entrance to the University. B&NES council is supporting the plan.
They are having a local consultation on their plans before they apply for planning permission on Tuesday 13 February 2018 5.00 – 7.30pm in the Chancellors’ Building, Level 2 Foyer, University of Bath, Claverton Down.

Network Rail is holding a series of drop in sessions on the dates below to update residents about the plans for electrification works.

The line between Chippenham and Bathampton Junction will be closed.
This will result in a reduced number of services from Bath Spa towards London to one per hour and they will be diverted via Westbury. Don’t forget however, that you can always get to London via Bristol.
1 August to 31 August 2015
The line between Chippenham and Bath Spa will be closed as will the line between Westbury and Bathampton Junction.
This means that there will be no trains running between Westbury, Freshford and Avoncliff to Bath Spa and journeys towards London from Bath Spa will be routed via Bristol Temple Meads and Parkway.
