You will recently have received leaflets about how the new waste collections will work, introducing the new black wheelie bins or black bags for household waste. You should receive yours shortly. We recommend you mark them with your address.
Also please be aware if you are short of recycling bins or your blue cardboard bag is disintegrating you can call council connect on 01225 394041 to get replacements or additional bins. With the winter coming please try to use the green bin lids so your recycling does not get blown away before collection.

Unfortunately the Friends of Sydney Gardens day on Sunday 13th August has had to be postponed until the Spring. We will let you know the new date in due course.
They apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause.
There is a post on the lampposts in the middle of Bathwick Hill that states the council intend to make the section of he road from no. 15 upwards a no parking at anytime zone on both sides of the road.

The reference is PEV 12697. I have confirmed this with our local councillor, Matt Cochrane and he was unaware it had happened. He says there should be a local consultation, but if you wish to object you must do it before 13th July.
I am consulting the committee but I believe we will object, I feel that this will not just impact the middle of the Hill but will increase pressure on the current permit parking areas.
