Arre you pestered by Gulls? If so you may get help from the council

A message forwarded by our councillor, Matt Cochcrane.
You will be aware that Cabinet have agreed further funding for gull treatments for this and future years.
Having completed a full and transparent tendering process the contract for the treatments has been awarded to NBC Environment, who had previously delivered the programme in 2016 and 2017.
This is the 3rd year of a wider programme and in response to concerns about displacement of gulls, the scope of the programme has been extended this year.  The wards which are eligible for free treatments are:
•        Abbey
•        Kingsmead
•        Bathwick
•        Combe Down
•        Kingsmead
•        Lyncombe
•        Newbridge
•        Oldfield
•        Odd Down
•        Southdown
•        Twerton
•        Widcombe
•        Westmoreland
In addition to the above we will be treating Council owned buildings (e.g. the Guildhall) and the former Welton Bibby Factory in Midsomer Norton.
Please could you direct any enquiries to our dedicated webpage where customers can find out how to contact our contractor, NBC Environment and register an interest for a treatment.  There are also a number of FAQ’s on this page which I hope you find helpful.  The link can be found here:
