A successful open gardens.

Our open gardens on Saturday was very successful, we had beautiful weather, the opportunity to view four beautiful gardens and a delicious tea. We raised £270 for the Food bank from donations and the raffle.
The Raffle winners were:
Mrs. Tinsley – Tin of Chocolate Biscuits donated by Tesco; 
Alan Robinson – Bike service donated by take charge bikes, Bathwick Hill; 
Elaine Gatehouse – bottle of wine donated by Alan Robinson and  
Lesley Norris – basket donated by Woodhouse and Hall, Bathwick Hill
Thank you very much to everyone who donated and bought raffle tickets, and many thanks to those who contributed the prizes.
Thank you to those who generously opened their beautiful gardens:
Elaine and Ian Gatehouse at Little Claverton, Vera Forsyth at La Casseta, Sandra la Marchant at 15, Bathwick Hill and Ann Westgarth at Little Priory. The gardens were all quite different and very beautiful with some stunning views of Bath to enjoy as well.
Also thanks to the bakers, Helen Greene baked some delicious shortbread and brownies, Peter and Penny brought scones and cream, Pauline Ashall brought brownies( you can never have too many), Sandra brought a carrot cake, Elaine brought flapjack, and Sue West brought short bread ( another thing you can never have to much of), Alan and Margaret Robinson brought two cakes.
Finally thanks to all the helpers for their hard work.
